World Classic - Tom Morris LTD Oct 5 $85,000
The sale was topped by the first ever World Dairy Expo Grand Champion ever to sell at the sale, Budjon Redmarker Desire *RC (EX-95). Desire, the Reserve Supreme Champion of 2005, was purchased by Peter Vail and Budjon, Niverville, NY and Lomira, WI for $85,000 and consigned by Budjon and Jeremy Nitz, Lomira, WI.
Legends of the Fall - Burton-Fellers Oct 27 $82,000
Topping the event was Lot #1, Budjon-JK Gibson Enjoy-ET, the VG-87 Gibson daughter of Budjon-JK Linjet Eileen-ET (2E-96, DOM). Enjoy was consigned by the Enjoyable Syndicate and purchased for $82,000 by Lawson Bennett and sale host, David Tait.
Bacon Hill Bonanza - The Cattle Exchange May 5 $77,000

 

Lot #1, the highly promoted and talked about Fly-Higher Oman Stutter-ET, was the high seller of the day at $77,000. Selling with over $180,000 in contracts, this VG-88 O-Man from a VG-88 Durham x 2E-92 Prescott, Stutter has an SCC of 47,000 and is milking 96 lbs. Purchased by Robert Goldmann, DeSoto, WI, she was consigned by Bill Peck of Welcome Stock Farm.
