The
New York National Spring Sale averaged $4521 on 78 lots. High price
was 21,000 for first choice Durham or Outside sold from Tobi 2E 96, consigned
by Kueffner Holsteins and sold to Doug Nelson of Derby Line, VT. He was
a major buyer last night, taking 8 head for a total of $65,000!
A total of 6 head brought over $10,000. Show calves were hot items, with
many bringing $4000. Lot 4, the Sept 01 Lee from C Rhein Broker Lee Ann
Lily brought $11,000 from Doug Nelson.
