"A Bad Goodbye" - The Gay Ridge and Kingstead All American Herds

A Bad Goodbye is the story of a Maryland family whose son, just out of high school, decides to return to the family farm and begin showing Holstein cows again like he did in 4-H. He teams up with a local cattle fitter and together they begin winning. Add in a Canadian gentleman with an eye for the best cows money could buy and they formed a team that provided a Grand Champion at the International Holstein Show in Madison, Wisconsin three out of four years with three different cows., all before his 26th birthday! Then it all came to a sudden end in March of 1993. This is the story of Greg Wilcom and his winning show cows along with the story of the King Family and Kingstead Farms, who helped Greg reach new hights in showing cattle.
